One visit, three deliverables
Sketching a loss by hand and keying it into estimating software is the slowest part of the file, and it is done at the worst possible moment.
A scan captures the room geometry, the 360 imagery, and the measurements in one pass. The room geometry comes back as an ESX you import directly rather than redraw.
The imagery is dated and positioned. Six months later, when a line item is questioned, you are looking at the room instead of describing it.

- Moisture, hidden damage, and anything behind a surface is outside what a scanner records.
- Heavily damaged or unsafe structures need to be cleared for access before a visit is scheduled.
